Really? Oh well, if thats your thing.
In ten years I hope to be a successful actor/director, living and working in California.
things i want to do today

Well Matt, I'm sure the sun shines in California a hell of a lot more than it does in merry old England, but I assume you want to move there because of Hollywood, right? Sure, the place looks pretty, but the industry over there is ugly.
I never want to work in Hollywood; I would rather stay right where I am and make movies. If you want to make low-budget, independent films, Hollywood is just a waste of time.
You've obviously been to a different part of California to me.
When I was out there last we drove from Santa Monica to Orange county(100mile journey)and didn't see any countryside just Metropolis.
And the people there are so odd.
And the polution is diabolical
And there are some problems getting eletricity.
If you like good countryside there are alot better places in the US than LA LA LAND.
I have to agree with Matt. For me it is an adventure I am dying to experience.. The weather and scenery out there is gorgeous! and People making movies everywhere..
Ten years--Have a few more films on the festival circut. Finish a Doc that I have been trying to get off the ground. Be able to pay my bills with movies. Get some good recognition for my work. Sorry, I don't want an Oscar or any other major award. No, I am not lying!!

I don't really want to live in LA. But in my opinion, the scenery in California can't be beaten - thats why I want to live there. That sort of thing appeals to me.
